Bayern Munich says defender Daniel van Buyten faces several
weeks out injured with a suspected broken metatarsal.
Van Buyten was taken off in the 76th minute of Bayern’s 3-1 loss
at Borussia Moenchengladbach on Friday, after a tussle for the ball
with Marco Reus.
Bayern did not say which foot Van Buyten injured, and that the
extent of the damage is not yet known. A full examination will take
place over the weekend.
